 Lynn Nehemiah\, White Marsh Historical Society\, and Dr. Laura Masur\, 
 Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Catholic University\, will discuss 
 the complex historical legacy of Jesuit slaveholding in Maryland and how 
 landscapes connected to the enslaved can carry forward traces of this 
 violent past and inform contemporary discussions about institutional 
 accountability. A reception and opening of the exhibit Reckoning and 
 Renewal: Confronting Slavery and Its Legacies at Loyola University Maryland 
 will follow the discussion.
